My fiance went to this Metro Diner. Not only were they and punctual, the prices and amounts were very fair and absolutely delicious. For my first visit, I give it five stars. I recommend anyone try out their Cinnamon swirl pancakes! They will have you sold!
It was packed but we got seated immediately. Our tender, Carl was superb!!! He was on point, gave us great recommendations, despite being super busy, and had a beautiful personality. I'm sure it would have been a different experience without him. Highly recommend the croissant french toast, it was amazing!
What a great place to enjoy a delicious breakfast! I haven’t been in some time but man I will be back soon. I enjoyed the Avocado Egg and hash browns bowl. The coffee is delicious and plentiful. No wait time and the service is excellent! Thank you Ms Sam. Super lady. The French toast are thick and delicious. Bacon is perfectly cooked. Metro is a fan favorite with lots of regular fans. Enjoy.
Love this place the biscuits and gravy is the bomb. My favorite place to eat breakfast in Gainesvill my kids love it too. I need to try lunch sometime. The breakfast is so good. I'm sure the lunch is good as well. You can always tell how good a place is by how busy it is. And every time I go in there, it is busy. And I don't mind waiting but I do love to sit at the bar and watch the people cook
This Diner doesn't disappoint. Kyle was our server and he is first-rate; very friendly and gives quality customer service. He is a credit to Metro Diner. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the Bissell Breakfast and biscuits and sausage gravy and our granddaughter had the child's waffle. Soooo good! We've eaten here 5 or 6 times for breakfast and lunch and have always been treated to superb service and wonderful food. Thank you all at Metro Diner. Keep up the fine dining.
This restaurant was awesome what a great selection of food. We had Breakfast for one in our group, fish for another cheese grits are awesome, Philly cheese steak for another, and teriyaki salmon everything was awesome then the cinnamon apple bread pudding was excellent. Be sure and ask for waitress Tory she was the absolute best. 💯 We will return.
As soon as we went inside we were greeted by a nice girl who found us a table right away, our server was kyle and he was amazing, fast ,friendly and very helpful as it was our first time here, we got huevos rancheros, cinnamon rolls pancakes, and more! Everything was delicious! I had 2 coffee refills 🤭
This place is amazing! I finally tried the cinnamon roll pancakes for the first time and they are phenomenal! I would totally recommend this place to anyone. They have a Great selection and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly, the girls are very sweet up front and I can't wait to come back again especially since we don't have one yet in my area. I have also been to the one in Tampa and it is great too!
Yum. Yum. Good ole comfort food. I had the pot roast special with a side of green beans and hubby had the fish and chips. Both were outstanding. As was the service, Alex, was sweet, right on point with her recommendations (!!) and was super attentive. If ever passing through again we would definitely return! Oh the canoli bread pudding! I almost forgot, so, so good.
Food was wonderful. My husband had the meatloaf dinner (which our waitress said was one of the dishes that was highlighted on Diners, DriveIns and Dives when Guy visited Metro Diner). I had the chicken salad croissant and a side salad. The salad had the most unusual "croutons" so I asked our waitress and she said they were actually fire roasted tomatoes, they were amazing. Our waitress was so friendly, she told us about the daily specials, made sure our drinks were full and continually asking if we needed anything.
